Radiesse

Calcium hydroxylapatite, or CaHA, makes Radiesse unique as an injectable aesthetic treatment. Radiesse is a one-of-a-kind injectable filler made of synthetic minerals—the only CaHA that’s FDA-approved for use in the lower face and hands. Immediately upon injection, Radiesse helps smooth out lines and wrinkles.

Beneficios

Immediate and long-lasting improvement

It’s the first and only CaHA portfolio available that provides both immediate, natural-looking results and long-term improvement—a year or more in many patients.

Stimulation of collagen and elastin production

CaHA particles integrate into your skin and create a “scaffold” that stimulates the production of collagen and elastin. Formed collagen and elastin replaces the correction provided by the gel carrier, smoothing lines and promoting renewed skin structure.

Safe

Radiesse is a safe, FDA-approved dermal filler that is also non-toxic and hypoallergenic.

Radiesse smoothes moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds that may make you look tired, angry, or sad, such as the nasolabial folds.

Also, Radiesse can be used to enhance the appearance of hands by restoring volume loss, which contributes to the signs of aging. It reduces the visibility of veins and tendons.

"I still look like myself, just a few years younger! My lower face area feels lifted overall and looks more defined."

How soon will I see results with Radiesse, and how long will they last?

Immediately upon injection, Radiesse helps smooth out lines and wrinkles. The natural-looking results last a year or more in many patients.

What should I tell my doctor before receiving Radiesse?

Tell your healthcare provider if you are taking blood thinners or medications that can interfere with blood clots, such as aspirin or warfarin. These medicines might make it more likely to experience bruising or bleeding at the injection site. Tell your health care provider if you have any diseases, injuries, or disabilities of the hand, if you have a history of forming large, raised scars, or if you have had any other skin treatments such as skin peels.

What are the side effects after the treatment?

Common side effects of Radiesse include bruising, redness, swelling, pain, and itching at the injection site. These side effects are also seen with other facial injection procedures. Also, you may be able to feel the Radiesse material in your skin for some time after your treatment. It may feel firm if you touch the area that was injected. This feeling will go away over the next several weeks.
