Sculptra is an injectable bio-stimulator made of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). Sculptra has a liquid consistency and is injected underneath the skin. As the beads biodegrade, the body may produce new collagen where Sculptra is injected.

How soon will I see my results?
Results are not immediate with Sculptra treatment. Remember, this isn’t a typical filler where voids are immediately filled with a replacement substance. It is a bio-activator designed to trigger your body to do its own filling of hollow areas and lines.
Some patients report results being seen shortly after their first treatment, but you will see maximum results between four and nine months. You’ll see positive changes in your face from the time of the last treatment until maximum results.
Can Sculptra be used with other injectables?
Because Sculptra doesn’t give immediate results, it’s not uncommon for it to be combined with more immediate injectables, particularly for patients who have upcoming special events. However, the need to combine different injectable treatments will depend on your exact aesthetic goals and the condition of your skin. Please consult our beauty experts about other treatments that may pair well with Sculptra.
If this treatment works well for you, there might not be any need to add other injectable treatments to achieve the desired results.
What are the side effects after the treatment?
Side effects could include injection site pain, redness, bruising, tenderness, minor bleeding, or swelling. The types and duration of side effects may vary by the individual patient.
